it's here
and it's gorgeous!!!!!!
I opened the seriously padded envelope
and pulled the wad of paper and pen out.
Out of the bag flowed the Electra #1065
fountain pen. Heavy man!!! A work of art
that I will enjoy using on a daily basis. It
replaces my vintage Esterbrook that had
a finer nib but was a little scratchy on paper.
Fine workmanship and fine writing. I can't
beat that. Also impressed with the instruction
sheets, the business cards ( I am a printer) and
the converter which I immediately installed.
All in all very pleased with the quality, the utility
and the fast service. I'll be back.

My package came today and I love them both.. I was going to use them as gifts BUT.....lol

so now I'm thinking I might get the a beautiful piece of Crosscut Spalted Hackberry

I need it made in to a pen and I know you can do this right?let me know

Yesterday, when I went to the post office( no home delivery here), much to my delight I discovered a box from Mike in Nanaimo. Even better was what was in the box! I found a beautiful segmented clicker pen complete with knots.

I should let you know that on Friday SWMBO picked up a certain package at the post-office and it arrived safely and undamaged and what a surprise! You certainly have raised the bar in terms of quality and eyecandy. It is very difficult sometimes to top some of your quality expertise when I see some of the products that are being created. Yours particularly.
I have some understanding as an ex-shop teacher dealing with the intricasies of acrylic plastics. However, your seamless welding is by far the best I've seen in my career. It must have been a lot of time spent getting those edges to come together with such exactness and accuracy. I must thank you for such a lovely exchange gift with the blanks and be assured that yours is on the way within the next two weeks and I will post on the website for all to see. Looking forward to corresponding with you further in the near future.

I gave the pen to my sister as a Christmas gift and I wanted to let you know that she likes it very much. Dear Mike & Claire Lenton

I received today an exquisite gift from my wife to mark the occasion of my 49th birthday. The silver Baron Pen you made from horn is one of the nicest gifts I have ever had the pleasure to open.

I am something of a naturalist at heart and have travelled to many parts of the world. I have seen Water Buffalo at close range and saw first hand the power and respect they command in their environment.

If I can influence or inspire in some small way my environment, with thoughts I will put to paper with this instrument then a bridge between nature and imagination will surely have been built

Hi Mike –

The pens have been well received. We would like to order 50 total of the cigar-shape (twist type). Let’s split the hardware half silver, half gold. Please use each of the wood species equally, or as close to it, avoiding discolorations and too much fill.

I am headed to Ghana the first week of December. If I could have as many as possible to take with me that would be ideal. Let me know what it reasonable.

Yes, Nakusp is a very unique little town, but I know Nanaimo as well, being that I lived in Shawnigan Lake and Victoria for a couple of years. All in all, BC is a great place to live.
